Just had our furnace liner and gas log set installed today. Jason D & Eric were our installers (same team that came out to measure and quote), they were both great. So pleased with their work! They were respectful of our home and left everything spotless. We love our "new" fireplace. I am pretty meticulous in inspecting new products in our home, they were very patient with my questions and had solutions for any concern I had. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who asks. Thank you Jason D & Eric for everything!

Tom and Jose did the cleaning and inspection on my chimney. Having just recently moved in, we weren’t sure what the condition was and having it checked would give us an idea of how safe it is to use the chimney. Tom explained the issues found with the camera and explained path forwards and options. Quotes being valid for a year is helpful in planning our budget for next year projects. They were super clean and careful in their work area. Super easy to schedule and would recommend them.

The process was simple from sales to install and the end result looks fantastic and cools down our deck by a good 10-15 degrees instantly. I only wish I heard of these guys a month or two earlier so we could’ve used the outdoor space more during the really toasty weeks! The crew was very professional and tidied up great afterwards. The install ended up a bit more difficult than initially thought but the good folks at Vertical were able to organize a boom lift to get the awning up and work with metal studs to properly fasten and waterproof everything. We love the end result and the buying process was effortless.

Jason D and Eric were thorough in explaining the quote and that they would also be performing the repair work to install a new liner and crown. They were on-time for the job, were pleasant to be with and completed the repairs efficiently. Their cleanup was also great. I’m very satisfied with Vertical Chimney and the work of Jason and Eric.

The technicians were friendly, and gave me good information about how to use the awning. They worked quickly and efficiently in 100 degree heat, and were nice and easy to talk to.

We've had our flue closed for 10+ years and called Vertical Chimney for cleaning and an inspection. Jason D and Eric came out and did an outstanding job. I'll spare the details, but kudos to these two for their hard work. They found nests, petrified remains, and even a live bat during their cleaning. They took care of everything and installed a chimney cap for us as well. I would recommend Jason and Eric from Vertical Chimney every time!

Great field team! The inspection and rebuild of my chimney was thorough and complete. After getting several prices to repair and replace my chimney stack, I picked vertical because Tom, the tech, found some issues others missed and provided a complete plan to renovate the chimney. The brick work and rebuild went perfectly and I can now rest easy that my chimney is safe for the upcoming winter. Pricing was competitive with other quotes I received. If I have one item for improvement (And the reason this is a 4 star and not a 5 star review), it is communication from the main office. I found myself having to call repeatedly to get updates after not hearing anything for weeks after I placed my deposit. The sales and admin side needs to be more proactive in communicating the process with the customer. I will use Vertical for my annual maintenance and any other items that may come up.

Jim did a great job! He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions and he even ran a camera in the pipe for inspection. Great service got there early, and affordable. Will definitely recommend to friends!

Eric and Jason Duda were awesome! Very informative about the state of our fireplace and boiler. Very transparent about the prices and the different options available to us. They did a great job cleaning and pointed out damages that were present and the associated risk. And lastly, very friendly! Would definitively recommend this company and I look forward to having work done by Jason and Eric in the future!

Tom and Nick were prompt, did a good job, kept the house nice and clean. They also were polite and removed their shoes on their own when entering the house. They also recommended a less frequent cleaning based on my usage which will help save me money in long run.

Kyle B did a beautiful job refreshing our gas fireplace...efficient, economical, and honest work. Henry worked well alongside Kyle and both of them were on time and neat. We recommend them highly!

Flawless. Tom G. and Jose G. arrived on time, did a great job, and left everything very clean. Communication is a high priority for me. Tom and Jose were knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions about safety and maintenance. With regard to future services, they hit that ideal spot of providing information that would fit my needs, which promotes their business in a way that is valuable to me as a customer. In addition, scheduling was easy. When I scheduled I was offered a coupon rate even though I hadn't mentioned the coupon. Nice. As a homeowner, it's always a bit of a relief to find the right people for the job. I recommend giving them a call if you need fireplace/chimney work done.

We contacted Vertical Chimney for a new liner. We have a home that is over 100 years old. Tom G. provided everything we needed from the estimate, care of our old brick, to the completion of the work. Kyle came out to discuss a replacement gas log fireplace. But instead of selling me a new one, he fixed the old one, something the first company I called was unable to do. Not only that: he also gave me instructions for keeping the fireplace in proper working order. Kyle was both honest and helpful and, as a result, we now have our lovely fireplace back. Vertical was out to clean our chimney. They were on time, neat, and made sure no ashes got anywhere they weren't supposed to be. They also cleaned our dryer vent. The technicians were informative and friendly. I would definitely hire them again.

Would recommend the fireplace and dryer vent cleaning service! Kyle was our technician, he was super patient with explaining how to use our fireplace as we are new homeowners. 2 gentleman showed up timely and ready to work. Both either took off their boots or put booties on which is appreciated in the winter. Fireplace was cleaned out followed by the entire chimney getting swept and viewed on a camera for a vertical issues. Very professional and nice. Would use again and recommend to family and friends.

This morning Josh and Mike came out to clean our chimney. We have lived here since 2021 and have never had the chimney serviced. Josh put a camera up the chimney and it showed no issues or blockage. Mike was showing me how the pipe that goes from the dryer vent appeared loose. Due to not being certain that the looseness would hold up to their cleaning process, we did not complete the job. But we did as they suggested and contacted the HVAC company we use and will have a Dryer Vent Technician come out tomorrow and hopefully rectify any issues. Today, we had our vintage gas valve replaced. Jason and Tom arrived on time, carefully removed the tile, replaced the valve, and put it all back together. They were professional, knowledgeable, and personable. We’re thrilled with the work!

As someone who is inexperienced in the chimney/fireplace world, and a new homeowner. I was so happy to have vertical chimney care come to my home. Jim and his team came and cleaned my fireplace so quickly and for a great price, but what I loved is that he inspected it and showed me what I should be looking out for as a homeowner in my new condo. He also took 20 extra minutes answering all my questions about nuances of a wood burning fireplace oir a gas burning fireplace and all my options and the pro and cons. He was a true expert and gave me honest answers and many different options, not just hte ones Vertical provided. I ultimately decided to go forward with installing a new gas fireplace with them becuase of all the help and expertise Jim provided and met another amazing employee Pete who helped me schedule and purchase an expense endeavour for our home. BUt he also made me feel very confident and understood about it and even gave me a discount. I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs a cleaning, inspection, installation or just has questions! They know what they are doing.
